Prior to joining Nemesys Insights, Dr. Sundelson was a Research Associate at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, where she played a leading role in the Global Partnership's Counter WMD Disinformation Initiative. She has written numerous publications on CBRN and health-related mis- and disinformation and has shared her expertise at several multilateral meetings and events, including meetings of the G7-led Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction and side events to meetings of the Biological Weapons Convention and the UN General Assembly First Committee.

Dr. Sundelson completed her PhD in Health Security at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where her research focused on the nature and consequences of Russian state-sponsored disinformation about biological weapons. Prior to starting her doctoral studies, Dr. Sundelson was a researcher at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, where she worked on an NIH-funded study on HIV risk in the US.

Dr. Sundelson received an MSc in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and a BA in Russian Language and Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she completed the Russian Flagship Program and spent a year studying and working in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She has professional working proficiency in Russian.
