Dr. Brandon Behlendorf is the Chief Scientific Officer and co-Founder of Nemesys Insights. In this position, he ensures all Nemesys studies adhere to scientific rigor and leverage relevant methodologies for the questions at hand. Dr. Behlendorf has two decades of experience in risk analysis, data analytics, social scientific methodology, and human behavior modeling. He concurrently serves as an Assistant Professor in the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity at the University at Albany, SUNY.

 

Dr. Behlendorf has conducted international public opinion surveys, used advanced quantitative methodologies (including multi-level modeling and geospatial analysis), and briefed government officials and industry representatives from over 30 countries. Dr. Behlendorf has served on grant review panels for multiple scientific organizations, led workshops on social science methodologies, and trains students in predictive modeling and organizational theory. Dr. Behlendorf received his PhD from the University of Maryland, his MA from the Ohio State University, and a BA from the University of California, San Diego.
